Rappelling

Two hours of descents on the 140-foot cliffs overlooking the Bay of Fundy's giant tides and spectacular currents. All rappelling equipment is provided and our experienced Adventure Guides will give you pre-instruction as well as pointers during the entire rappel session. The actual number of descents depends upon your energy and the fitness of the group. Generally, a half-dozen rappel runs is anticipated. Group size is limited to a maximum of 12 people per session. Larger groups can be accommodated if they have booked as a group and agree to certain conditions. Return to the rappel deck at the cliff top is via a stairway from the fossil beach and subsequently along a hillside trail. The return walk/climb is the most exhausting part of the rappelling adventure and takes 3-5 minutes for the average person. Rappelling is not weather dependent except in extreme conditions. Sessions are normally at 10 AM, 1PM and 4 PM and when you book, you will be registered in the session that is best fit for you and for local conditions. Time extensions are not normally possible for those who arrive late.

Cancellation Policy
Our cancellation policy is 25% of total booking if cancellation occurs within 48 hours of the scheduled adventure time and 100% is processed  for no-shows (those who do not show up at all and do not call to cancel).

*Because rappelling is done on ocean front cliffs, it is imperative to arrive at the scheduled time; an extension of time cannot be guaranteed.

 

LIABILITY WAIVERS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL ADVENTURES

Our standard liability waiver is required for all Adventures at Cape Enrage and may not be signed by those under 19 years of age. Terms and Conditions

All adventures require that the participant pay upon arrival and sign a standard liability waiver. Participants who are not yet 19 years of age must have the waiver signed by a parent. Bookings are guaranteed by a 25% deposit made by Visa, Mastercard, Debit Card, cheque or cash. Non-guaranteed bookings will be honoured when space is available. All adventures are somewhat weather dependent and may have to be canceled if safety is compromised. Deposits will be refunded if Cape Enrage has to cancel for any reason. If a booking is made, it is helpful if the participant calls to confirm on or near the date of the adventure - and especially helpful if the participant must cancel. Please register at the Whistle House gift shop upon arrival. Since tides dictate all our adventure times, being on time is critical. Due to insurance requirements, participants must be accompanied by an adventure staff and may not use their own equipment.
